Second Beach Family Campground
COVID-19 update as of May 26, 2020:
At this time, the Town of Middletown is not accepting any reservations.
The Town Council is still deciding on how to safely reopen the beaches and the campground because of COVID-19. The Second Beach parking lots and Campground remain locked at this time. We will have more information in June – please check the Town’s website under Town News and Updates or follow us on social media.
The Town of Middletown’s Second Beach Family Campground is located on Sachuest Point Road opposite the main parking lot of Sachuest (locally known as Second) Beach. The campground is bordered by the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge and the access road to Third Beach.
It opens annually mid- May and closes near the end of September.
This camping facility has pull through sites to accommodate up to 44 campers or RV’s in varying length (there are only a few transient spots that can handle campers 40 feet in length).
Utilities included in the rental rate are electricity, sewer, and water hook ups.
Toilets, hot showers, and ice locker on site.
Campground management on site.
No tent camping
No pets allowed
